Probably the most unequal tie of the whole draw, there the seventh of last year Premier League will face the third of last years Slovakian league. Everton has spent this summer already over 100 million euros trying to replace Romelu Lukaku with big names like Wayne Rooney up front and Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford or Davy Klaassen behind the striker line, improving an already very good squad. However, pre season games for big teams are never easy and they will host a Ruzomberok that has already played five official matches, two ties of the Europa League (overcoming Vojvodina and Brann) and the first league match of the year.

The results away from home are not very promising as they’ve lost two of three, but they managed to score in every game, showing they have quality in the last third on the pitch.

Everton has still a lot of new pieces to assembly and it won’t be easy to find new automatisms after trusting the last for seasons all the scoring responsibility to Lukaku, now gone to Manchester United.

Even if the english are massive favourites here, getting a 4-0 is never easy, especially when the other team is physically more prepared for this tie. If the visitors manage to score, there will be tension in Goodison Park and we don’t think the Toffees will get a huge advantage for the second leg.
